Summer Camp at Appletree School
At The Appletree School of Fairfax, we offer fun-filled summertime adventures for children from age two through rising fourth graders. This summer, get ready for Appletree Bucket List Adventures!
For children enrolled in our twos, threes, and four-year-old classes, summer camp experiences are already included as an extension of their full-year program and care. No other registration for preschoolers is needed to enjoy summer fun.
Summer camp registration is available by the week or a full summer package for academy students rising to first, second, third, and fourth grades. This service to families offers the flexibility for parents to plan family travel or other experiences for their children.
Each summer, Appletree’s camp announces an engaging theme such as these past favorites:
- Beach Bash
- Arctic Blast
- Sense-a-tional-a celebration of the five senses
- Camping Out
- Full Steam Ahead-featuring Science Technology, Engineering Art, and Math fun
Weekly topics engage students in creative arts and crafts, cooking, water play, bounce house fun, academic activities, performances by guest artists, off-campus field trips and more. Appletree campers of any age must wear a summertime camp shirt while taking part in off-campus field trips. There is a small additional fee for the camp shirt.
Appletree Camp Counselors reinforce lessons taught throughout the year with emphasis on character, values, math and reading time. Appletree observes a Hallmark traditional Fourth of July week picnic and fireworks each summer for all children attending during the shorter holiday week.
